Luanda hosts the 2nd NQF Forum on 5-6 Sept 2024

On 5-6 September representatives of 19 African countries meet in Luanda to discuss NQF, RPL, CATS, Green Skills, Micro-credentials, Qualifications and Credentials Platform and launch the pilot phase of referencing to ACQF.

For the first time, the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) compared with the NQF of an African Country – Cabo Verde. Based on a participative process of 8 comparison meetings over 6 months, the report identified and analysed similarities and diversity and concluded that both qualifications frameworks are comparable. The report was presented to EQF Advisory Group in June 2023, and to a wider audience of African and European countries through a webinar in September 2023.

The recent ACQF-II survey collected data on the place and trends of micro-credentials in the qualifications and lifelong learning systems in different African countries. 28 countries participated in the survey.
